My wife is from Makassar and we come often to Sulawesi where we always face the problem of finding decent coffee. This is it, in my opinion the best brewed coffee in Makassar. The place is neat, clean, borderline spartan but the coffee is great, brewed with care and enthusiasm by very eager staff. Food is basic, but the omelette I had there for breakfast this morning was by far superior to that I was served at my hotel. It helps that the owner is there, making sure everything is right. Prices are super low and will positively surprise you. Bravo! Edit July 2022 Still a great place to go for coffee in Makassar. That My coffee survived the pandemic and resulting low traffic of visitors is a testament to the quality of the place.

Quiet and great ambience. This small coffee shop is my go-to place because of the simplicity. Not much in terms of the menu..but if you need some place quiet this is the place to go.

Nice coffee shop but the owner bit rude. They arrived at the shop and honking the car over and over without even step out of the car while there was customers sitting outside. Have manner people.
