Stayed at the lodge a few weeks ago for a friend's 30th birthday celebration. The spacious living room and kitchen were perfect for our small group of friends (especially in covid times). The greens were stunning! Very well maintained and amazing to play on.

The best Stay and Play packages in Southern Illinois

Golf course is beautiful. To be upfront we were 3 families with 6 adults, 4 teens and two 10 yr olds. We rented the “lodge” with no intent to golf. This was made VERY clear up front. We were 3 families with children wanting to just getaway for the weekend and sit around a fire pit at the Shawnee National Forest area. Area cabins elsewhere were booked. Jason said there would be no problem and knew we were not there to golf.

Stopped here on our way to the Makanda Inn for a quick round of golf. The course is beautiful and challenging. Super friendly staff. We'll be back and bring our friends!
