Germaine's Luau - Makakilo

They cancelled the Luau and didn't notify me at all. I showed up and the place was closed. No email, call, note left on the gate. I even checked my spam inbox and phone for any missed calls, nothing. Was really disappointed because I called a week prior to ensure they had our reservation and that everything was confirmed and they told me everything was set. I've never been to Hawaii before and attending a Luau was on the list of things I wanted to do. I'd recommend going with another place that values your time and has the courtesy to give you notice of any changes.

Germaine's Luau is as authentic luau and it's very popular luau experience located in Kapolei on the island of Oahu in Hawaii. It offers traditional Hawaiian luau experience with a focus on Polynesian culture, entertainment, and food. They cook pig in very traditional way! Guests can enjoy a buffet-style meal with a variety of Hawaiian and Polynesian dishes, such as kalua pig, poi, and haupia, while being entertained by hula dancers, fire dancers, and other Polynesian performances. There is a lighthouse right by the property, really adds extra flare to the luau! Parking: If you arrive early then free parking! Wheelchair accessibility: Little difficult
