Soul Food Fantasy - Maitland

The first Soul Food place that taste like home, not to salty or sweet, it was just right. The place may look alittle iffy on the outside but you could taste the love and flavor in the food especially the collards.

The food was amazing! Definitely food for the soul from the soul and fresh! Get a juice to go you'll thank me!

I really don?t know how the other reviews can rave about this place. The food was the absolutely worse I?ve had. I?ve been to Chantels, Angles, Seinnas Soul food spots that are sorta in the area. I tried this place since it was near my hair dresser and of course my thought of ?giving back to the community? well buyers be ware!! The Mac and cheese was watery, obviously canned or liquid cheese sauce is being used, my baked chicken looked and taste like fish, my sisters fried chicken taste like it was fried in months old reused grease. Very disappointing, overpriced, And just disgusting . Maybe I tried them on a bad day, but it was only 11:30 am, everything should have been fresh??? Don?t do it!!!

I?ve been in Orlando for a week. Last day and I find this gem in Eatonville. Fresh food, friendly people and a clean establishment. Highly recommend checking it out and exploring the local history as well

The wait was comparable with other restaurants around. The food tasteless. I ordered the Chicken Alfredo bowl, my friend ordered the Shrimp Alfredo Bowl, another friend ordered the Fish Friday Special. The alfredo was nice and creamy with no seasoning what so ever not a onion, garlic, salt or pepper in the sauce. The noodles were overcooked. The fantasy drink is to sweet, even after adding water to the drink to dilute it did not help. My friend that ordered the Fish Friday special found a piece of BRILLO IN HER FRIED FISH !!!! This is our first and last time going to this place. The receipt says no refund or exchange...... that says a lot. PS They have nice people working there, very friendly.
