Creperie la Bonne Humeur

We visited this restaurant based on reviews that we had read and were pleased at the wide choice of galettes on offer. We were surprised at the speed with which our order arrived but then found that my scallop galette was still cold in the inside. I pointed this out to the waitress who took it back to the kitchen and brought it back moments later steaming hot - we can only assume that the galettes are pre-prepared and then microwaved prior to service. There is usually a fair wait for galettes to be served at other creperies that we have visited as the dishes are freshly prepared to order. The dish was tasty none the less and the restaurant was full with families and other diners.On our walk back to our hotel we noticed that there is another creperie in Maisons Laffitte called Chez Moi which looked nice.

Les galettes salées étaient très bonnes, servies avec une petite salade dans l'assiette et généreuses en quantité. Les crêpes sucrées étaient un délice. Il y avait un large choix. Le service était chaleureux et efficace. C'était une petite crêperie, pas trop bruyante, avec une terrasse sympathique. Les tarifs étaient raisonnables pour la région. Je vous recommande cette adresse.

Kind service. correct portions. reasonable prices. The cider is good. The tables are not too tight. welcomes customers even late at noon. What more?
