Ponderosa Steak & More - Mainz

The food was cut at most, the service consisted of mostly overwhelmed students. that could not be good.

The ponderosa was recommended to us by friends and since we were close, we settled there. Unfortunately, we didn't agree. the burgers we chose were unfortunately not delicious and too expensive. there are much better burgers shops.

Absolutely unwelcome. personal is incapable; prices overpriced, portion too equal, maybe an English dictionary for medium rare and well done would be worth a purchase.

We want to try something else, because a colleague had found it good, but as it turned out, this was not the case! We 12 people, among other things the colleague, have been quite disappointed. the service is a bit slow and forgetful, quickly stressed and when the one of the chiefs was there, well then... ..that's for eating it mainly or many burgers give, not exactly the cheapest and the taste has also been quite different, with a burger being selected several times. the outer fillet was quite tough, and the salads were partly not made or too sour of taste. the grill plate costs 30€!!!If drinks were ordered, this took quite long and partly they were not even really cold.A friend ordered a havana club around and was asked how this is served, he replied that he did not know this anyway he tasted. he got a 5 ladles at the same price and it was good.To pay for the treses, as the acku is no longer so full and it could be that the whole bill otherwise disappears in the nirwana. it had almost everyone around the 60€rons - to pay (per couple),and this for a small appetizer, mains and drinks. cheap isn't that right now.We won't come back here as soon as possible!

We had a table reserved around 19 o'clock and also arrived in the restaurant. the assignment of our table also worked smoothly. that was also the only postive at the service.Of course the service forces were hopelessly overloaded. the few service forces ran as it seemed pretty unconceptually around. we were served by 3 or 4 different service forces.After approx. 10 minutes we received a)!( menu. another 20 minutes later our order was received. until the delivery of the drinks went about 20 minutes.....Since we had a lot of time to observe the other guests we noticed that the other guests had to wait extremely long. eating (which after a long period of one hour also came at some point was good (lammfiltes, or straussensteak), but not overwhelming. no word of apology or even a petty at the expense of the house.We will certainly not come back.
