KAMIN - Mainz

The menu is several pages long, almost exclusively flame cake. for those who do not know what is flaky cake, it is like a pizza with thin bottom that is covered with sour cream instead of tomato sauce. traditionally served with tweepers and speck cubes, but the kamin offers a whole selection – with and without meat. as dessert, there are sweet flame-cake variants, e.g. with apple-cleans and cinnamon.

Approx. 30 different flaky cakes on the menu as well as various types of salads and appetizers. the flammpie was excellent, inexpensive, and it was nice to see that the place has a fireplace in the middle of the room. However, they needed about 45 minutes to serve 4 flammable cakes.

For flame-cake lovers this is paradisiacal! they have the choice of over 30 different types! this is actually one of my favorite restaurants in mainz, because all are so nice, simple and helpful ... the restaurant is very cozy with a fire in the middle of the room and a very relaxed atmosphere. ideal for dinner with friends a cold winter night!

The appetizer is the bang, but you swear on their huge variety of very tasty flame cakes. the prices are a bit high, but the main dishes are all very good and you can hardly choose from the menu. also the restaurant is very romantic and they should bring their loved ones here

We came here for a quick drink after the cinema, but wished we had not done it. we waited forever to order, and then forever, until the drinks arrived. the load was not even full and we ordered nothing complicated. on a brighter note it was funny to get a hot chocolate in a milk bottle and minttee (although we ordered ingwer) served in a one-piece glass with handle (yet the room therefore after inlaid wobble.)?
