Il Quadrifoglio - Mainz

This is one of our favorite Italian restaurants when we are in mainz. elegant yet relaxed ambiente. friendly and efficient service. a place to go for a quiet romantic evening or a family celebration. the menu selection is a bit limited and yet. quality

We were a group of nine renters who had booked for a Monday evening, so were practically alone in the restaurant. we were greeted with what one could best call a cascalier, and the service stayed the evening unwilling. The foods are in order, but the brot was rocky and for the main course we had to ask for a pfeffer mill and salt. the bill came, we all said what we had ordered, and each article was duly pulled out of the list and paid. when there was only one person left, slammed the waiter (I use the word advisable) the bill on the table before him and said: that is what is left. Despite this excessive rudeness, our friend reacted gently to the fact that he wanted to pay for what he had consumed, and the bill has not to do with it at all. that didn't go well, and the atmosphere became very unpleasant. we all tried to find out what had gone wrong, but at the end some articles were accused twice. this error was finally added (grudgingly,) but it was a embarrassing and unnecessary end, which should have been a pleasant annual re-view. we will not return to this restaurant.

Very good Italian eating meat, fish, wine. reasonably priced, i.e. not cheap. recommended. I'm back.

Stopped the autobahn for an evening meal and found il quadrifoglio. Although we had no reservations, we were warmly welcomed and sat immediately. we started with the goat cheese spinat filled ravioli in a delicious tomato ricotta sauce and a refreshing grilled goat cheese. Raspberry green salad. haupten were leber in butter and sage rack cooked by lamb. cooking was perfect, the meat was young, tender and not to find a touch of mutton-y taste. kontorni of spinaci, kartoffeln and bratkartoffeln and green bohnensalat were perfectly spiced. no place for dolci. the service was excellent, without overbiding. After years living in italia, we are very pleased to find an authentic Italian quality restaurant. yes, this restaurant is not a budget, run in operation, but for the quality and the amount we have found that it is worth the prices. can hardly wait to come back! mille grazie, e a la prossima!

The Quadrifolgio is a rather expensive restaurant. Although withe the experience i made the qualtiy doesn´t quiet match the price. Because you can´t order pizza, i chose spaghetti with cockels instead. The sauce and the spaghetti were fine but the cockels tasted pretty awful. The...restaurant looks pretty nice execpt for the chairs on the outside.
