Maybe we're just too pampered, but the homepage suggests you're much more than a school pub with medium-pretentious meat.
We could have booked a table for two with luck. the first impression was an authentic restaurant. tja, with which words I would describe this locally - what is the first thing to think of? very cozy, mexican, not very large, grounded, easy aging, student-local, to stay, eat cozy and talk a bit. that you don't understand me wrong, we are over 40 ).;fazit: we felt very comfortable.The services were all very friendly and have made a good job!Now the best that was eating was super delicious!! We had filled with beef as an appetizer onion round. for me it could have been a "biger wobble ring" but that is a taste. we had the "wellness steak ". the piece of meat was an onglet - not a lean piece of meat. many small and medium-sized fatheads pull through the muscle, which makes the special taste. tastes more intense after bark than a filet. delicate and delicious. I have eaten the first time, but not the last time. pommes, fenchel grilled vegetables, crimson butter were made and great. we have paid 27 euro for this main dish and I don't know how to consider this too expensive. a portion of large pommes in the fast food chains cost almost 3 euro and are much smaller and worse. thanks for a nice evening and a very tasty eating!
Who wants to eat a good steak in mainz is right here. the operator is also sitting at the source, I say only noblebeef ;-)
Who prefers Grass-fed beef is exactly right in the humberto. loose, modern atmosphere; thoughtful menu with ever new ideas, but also the classic steak dishes can convince completely. priced naturally in a slightly higher segment, however, this is completely in the frame, as good meat must have its price not been the last time there.
We have encountered this beautiful restaurant at our first evening in mainz. the food was divine, the steak was prepared according to our taste and tasted fantastic.
