Cafe Extrablatt Mainz Schillerplatz

Christmas market time and a part is just in front of this place. Nice heated seating outside with good selection of drinks, pleasant staff.

We stopped here for coffee one day, and another location for dinner during the week. Nice casual dining and coffee/dessert.

Cafe Extrablatt is located across from the famous Madigras Fountain (Faschingsbrunnen) in the city center. It's a place where young and old folks meet for a cup of coffee or some hot meal.

Come after 7pm for cocktail happy hour. One drink is 5,45€ and they taste great. If you can, ask for Adele, she’s a great waitress!!

On my iPhone, so short and sweet. Order my food and beer. Another customer sits two setting away. My food on his place 8 minutes later. Only thing staff says is “sorry”. Paid full price for me two bites and graciously bowed out. Advise: keep...walk two more blocks to square to Aposto.
