Bellpepper - Mainz

As every year we were eating at our wedding day in the bellpepper. at the most beautiful view of the Rhine we enjoyed the delicious food. there was nothing to expose in the bellpepper, as with every visit. unfortunately, this time, however, the personal left to wish. we already told our service to order drinks that we already knew what we would like to eat. our service then said they would be right back to pick up the order. then nothing happened. around us, other guests came, who then ordered to eat after some time. we were still sitting in front of our closed menus and waiting, and it wasn't quite a lot to go. a couple at the neighboring table was similar. also they had to wait while others who later came to order their food. Even when we got our drinks, we were not asked if we wanted to order. as I said, the menus were on our tellers all the time. after other guests who had come after us already got their food, it became too colorful and we talked to someone actiw and shared our unmistakably. but the restaurant was far from full. it seemed to be a more organizational problem. because in the neighboring table, a main dish was also confused, so one of the people had to wait even longer for their proper food. all in all, we had the impression that somehow the organization in the team of the employed did not work at all. what we then found a little strange was the fact that our service told the other tables to the close, drink would go to them because today it didn't go so round. when she came to us the table was not a trace of this nice gesture. Pity if here is obviously measured with two measurements.The eating was really good as I said and we will spend our high-time day there next year. However, we hope that the organization in the team, and thus the service itself, then again reached the level of the previous year.

I have selected a few delicious vegetarian options. really good eating, but the service was only in order, since I never got a part of my order, but I was provided the drink portion for the error free of charge beautiful and good menu.

We were once again in the bellpepper after a long time to see if there was something fortent developed.Reserved we had for them, but because of the nice weather the table was reserved in the outside area. that was good so, the place is incomparable with beautiful weather.The service was, despite predominant interns or apprentices, appropriate to the standard of the house. we had 2 x a three-way menu-selected. that was rather too clear at the appetizer and the main course. I haven't written that even with sterneköchen yet. the dessert was able to spoil the impression again. Unfortunately there is no proper mineral water with carbonic acid, you have to take a rather non-special medium-water of san pellegrino. this was then also overpaid at 9,-€uro without a measure.The overpaid also applies to the selection of open wines. the selection was quite good, but for a 0.1 l wein are not appropriate prices around the seven to nine €uro. Conclusion: the assessment of the “The Gourmet” as one of the best restaurants in Germany I cannot understand today in the most distant.If we have again lust and laune, we will visit the “Rheintöchter Terrasse” of the hyatt. I hope that there will finally be a better mineral water.
