We had really enjoyed dinner at the restaurant des atrium hotels in Mainz-Finthen. we were four and chose different 3-course menus. the appetizer came flott and was delicious. the bachsaibling on ferbsenpüree convinced us as well as the wine selection. then the fate took his run. after 90 minutes waiting (after the appetizer was completed) and several questions, last with massive note that several guests were served at the neighboring tables that had come to us, eating them before us, then the main course came. I had ordered the bark fillet with supplements for a good 32,00 €. with the chief of the service I discussed my desire of the stage "bleu, very ****, 10 seconds per page." he said that was not a problem. what came, was a bark fillet of the "between medium well and well done!" I let the service manager review my steak and he gave me the right that the desired garpunkt could not be worse than in my case.Who now, as I am, assumes that the steak was of course brought new, he will be as disappointed as I was. the service chef met my complaint with a great portion helplessness, apologised, but does not arrange to worry for replacement. a great annoyance. I still forgive three of five points because not everything was bad. the ravioli with goat cheese and the spinatknödel of the other guests at my table were impeccable and very tasty. Moreover, the service deserves a big praise, which has tried to meet the overload in the kitchen and to calm the guests.Also the desserts were perfect. Moreover, there was a small reparation for all at the table an extra dessert as a small reparation for the fauxpas with the steak. Conclusion: due to the overall circumstances and the fact that it was perhaps a momentary recording this evening, we will give the adagio another chance. However, it remains that the problem with the not hit at all could have been solved more professionally...and such waiting times are not measurable.
The selection of feeds is rather limited. you offer special foods, which then do not convince in taste and quality. the velvet of a very special boar was fried and dry. the sweet was hard and partly unknown. the service only had to ask, there was no final answer.
On a business trip - eaten here quite late in the evening. the food was excellent - good choice and fresh pasta was very good. large and good wine card. the staff is very attentive and helpful
4.5 points for this excellent restaurant. very friendly and competent service. eating was demanding and of high quality. whether different preparations of oysters, different sweet sorets, rocksteak or goer mousse - all very interesting and delicious. recommended!
