The Pepper Box Inn - Maidstone

It had been a while since our last visit, but we had a pleasant experience this time. The tuna and prawn baguettes were lacking in flavor, but we enjoyed sitting in the garden. A friendly local Labrador retriever even jumped on our table and finished off our leftovers as we made our way back to the car, so nothing went to waste. The food service ends at 2:15pm, but despite arriving around 2:10pm, they happily accommodated us. We will definitely be returning again.

This charming pub is located in a stunning setting. Keep in mind that they have rural opening hours, so make sure to check before visiting. The food is delicious, but the only reason I didn't give it a perfect 5-star rating is because of the limited beer selection.

This restaurant is not suitable for families with young children. It's important to note that children under the age of 10 are not permitted on the premises, even if there are no reservations and the restaurant is empty.

Great place. Great Food . Nice people. And fab staff.

Always a joy to eat and drink here and our go it place. Great menu and pork schnitzel cooked to perfection. A real find.
