Kala Red - Maidstone

Unfortunately, there was no ambiance as we were the only customers on a Saturday evening. The food tasted decent, but it was not served hot, indicating it may not have been freshly cooked. The noise from the bar downstairs did not bother us, but we decided to leave around 9:30pm. Additionally, a 10% service charge was automatically included in the bill. Overall, there was nothing compelling us to return to this restaurant.

The food at this restaurant is delicious, and the service is both efficient and welcoming. The menu has a variety of options at reasonable prices. The staff members are attentive and accommodating, and the food is of excellent quality. I would definitely recommend this restaurant, but be aware that the bar downstairs can get quite loud on weekends, with the DJ starting the music early.

The menu was limited as they had run out of many main dishes. The rest of the food was just average, nothing particularly special.

Food very good but very poor service. People seated after us served before us. Prawn crackers given to most tables, had to ask for ours. One of our dishes arrived, 15 minutes later the rest of our order arrived so first dish was cold. Not enough staff for the amount of customers. Won’t be dining there again.

Visited on Chinese new year, obviously over booked, understaffed and poor entertainment. Ordered 2 further drinks that never arrived. Over 2.5 hours for 3 courses
