Fish On The Green - Maidstone

Unfortunately not the place I remember. This was the second time in recent weeks we have ate there and the food quality has really deteriorated. The other week I thought it may be down to the wrong choice however this evening proved it has significantly dropped in quality. Saying that my husbands steak was really good however the overall meal was ruined by plastic in my food. I have received an apology from the manager who also completed an incident form and fortunately I was not harmed so i do not wish to take the matter further. However overall following this and the last meal we will not eat there again.

They’ve still got it. A great place for a relaxed but delicious meal. Lots of tasty specials. Good selection of wine. Friendly and efficient service.

Very nice food, banoffee pie is massive and delicious

The Lady that served us was lovely and great at her job, sadly the food was disappointing apart from burger or steak 3 of us did not rate the food, we did hand over this and was advised to say before we ate it which I do understand but when your out for a birthday meal to have to send food back and then sit waiting for other food isn’t nice so we chose not to, wouldn’t go back

Ordered kofta with salad and baba ghanoush. Koftas were okay, but salad was a few bits of wilted lettuce with four slices of pickled cabbage and the baba ghanoush was tasteless. Thought I’d have a special hot chocolate as that couldn’t be as bad wrong. Lukewarm and not very nice.
