Pizza Papi Pasta - Mahahual

We always have a wonderful time at Pizza Papi. The pizza is delicious, but did you know the calzones are to die for? They served our table of 9 and kept our drinks full. Unfortunately, this time they were out of many booze items because it was Jan. 1 and they had a Noche Buena the night before. They made up for any insufficiency by getting our food out to us in record time. You can watch the kitchen staff rolling out the dough and workng their butts off. (Dough is not tossed : . They did not have a band this time, but they often do and it's rockin'. Definitely worth the trip.

This was amazing pizza and salad! I've been in Mexico for a few months now and had yet to find pizza that was even so-so. This place went above my expectations! If you get here make sure you stop in for a great meal! Hours are 5-8 for now so make sure you plan accordingly!

We make it to Mahajaul at least once a year. Pizza Pappis is ine of our go to places. The cozy pizza shop is away from the tourist area and is authentic and wonderful. The locals frequent this place for the great food and neighborhood atmosphere. Everyone is so nice and the service is great. The staff speaks english and seem genuinely glad you stopped in. The pizza is Amazing. We often joke that the best pizza we ever have is in this small town in mexico. The owners are from Italy, and that might have something to do with it. Stop by, have a pie and a cold beer. You will not be disappointed. They also have a large full service bar.
