La Place - Magny-les-Hameaux

We went there for dinner: 6 people, a big dog and a 1-year old baby. The service was very nice: they provided an adapted seat for the baby, they found enough place for the dog, they adapted the child-menu to our request (pasta instead of 'frites') and they gave water for the dog. The food is good: we tasted the burgers, the steak, the salmon and the 'tartare', as well as, a complete set of big ice creams of different kind. We really suggest this place, is the best one we tried in the area of 10 km surrounding our place.

I took the "blue cheese hamburger", which had only its name, hamburger, so as to identify itself. An industrial bun, with a cucumber slice, a watered down sauce, and a deep fried burger, that is what I was served. Even my 11 year old son makes better burgers. The accompanying salad, from a sealed bag with an industrial sauce "moutarde à l'ancienne", and cold fries, completed perfectly the mediocrity of this disaster. Best to avoid this place...

They have decent mussels and salads and the daily special is generally fine. Not terribly friendly service.
