There were no food in the hotel as the owners of the restaurant were not available. the hotel is away from many urban areas, but there is access to a gas station and other restaurants, if necessary.

The food didn't taste as good as years ago. for me the quality has taken a bath.

Located within easy walking distance of the Norwegian/Swedish border, on Route 2, this was a stop for our tour group. The building is very interesting as it features a sod roof. Inside it is clean and modern, with restrooms and a large eating area. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and fries, with a soft drink. The burger was large, there was a good portion of fries and they were not greasy nor salty (unlike American fries). However, it cost 159 Norwegian Krone, which at that time was $19.07!! Close by is a huge Troll statue on the opposite side of the road, still on the Norwegian side of the line. And there is a tourist information bureau a short distance from the restaurant.

Chose accommodation when my standard accommodation was full. Little did I know that this became my new favourite! Booked Superior room as this cost marginally more. CLEAN room with a good standard. More internet line than what I have experienced in some other hotels. Free charging for electric cars even if there were only two points. Here we come back
