Przekaż informację zwrotnąI understand that people have different taste when it comes to bbq and sauces but I 'm not a fan of this place. The sauce is really sweet and the smoke on the meats is bitter. The beans must have their bbq sauce in it because it is sweet too. I likemustard potato salad but this place has way too much mustard in it. The only thing we would eat again is the fried okra and thatdoesn 't warrant going to a bbq place. Side note. Used the restroom to wash my hand and they were out of paper towels to dryoff. No biggie but decided to tell an employee so they could replenish for other people and her reply was yeah I know and wentabout her business. This may just be lack of customer service training on her part.
I?ll tell you what?.best damn bbq we?ve had so far in Magnolia! The brisket was mouth watering and the smoke ring was beautiful. Highly recommend the sides as well: Mac and cheese, green beans and potato salad. Only con was the ribs did not come out hot. They were pretty busy so I?ll give them a pass on it. The rub on the ribs had a great flavor profile and a lot of depth. The bbqsauce has a unique smokey tomato base. I can?t wait to go here again and try out more delicious food! Enjoy
The price of BBQ these days is crazy, I ordered the slice beef with onions, pickles, jalapeños. Also came preloaded with sauce which was good but I rarely use sauce on brisket. But that's on me I'm not familiar with this establishment. I got my money'sworth on the beef for sure. Parking was crowded service was excellent, country decor and clean restrooms if I lived here woulddefinitely go back.
Was very unimpressed with the quality of the food for the price. Have had better service and better food for much cheaper elsewhere. The brisket tasted like something you can buy premade at HEB. My 6yo would not even eat the lackluster Mac &Cheese, and it's is her favorite food. But the thing that got to me most was the Cole Slaw! It had a horrible lemon and celerytaste and was NOTHING like southern Cole Slaw. I have no interest in coming back to this place.
We were looking for a place to eat lunch on the way home to College Station from the airport on a Friday. Driving through Magnolia, we stopped here based on reviews and this place did not disappoint! We pulled into the packed parking lot and walkedin. The place was packed with law enforcement, workers and families. The atmosphere is lively and fun, very casual, and theyhave a deck with outside seating as well. I had the ribs with Mac cheese and green beans. Hubby had chicken and sliced brisketwith okra and potato salad. It was delicious! All 3 meats were juicy and well seasoned, both with spices and smokiness. My ribsfell off the bone. The sides were great, the green beans especially... Though the Mac cheese didn't disappoint either. Thestaff is all SUPER nice and helpful and the owner was hilarious and came to check on us to make sure everything was to ourliking. This place is a gem! Before walking out, we purchased a couple of their home made desserts to take home! I got key limepie and hubby got blackberry cobbler. Now, he's got a CRAZY sweet tooth, and LOVES blackberry cobbler, but this particular onewas a little too sweet. The key lime pie, however, was AMAZING! Perfect tart and tangy and just sweet enough. The fresh whippedcream layer on top and the key lime filling were both light and airy and melted in my mouth. The graham cracker crust wasbuttery and perfect. We live in College Station, but we will be driving back to Magnolia regularly to frequent this place. It'sTHAT good. We have BBQ places here, but NOTHING this good.
