And we felt like beggars: there is no perception that those coming here should enjoy their time. The wine menu is an illusion there is only the white house wine of questionable quality. The fried seafood is mediocre at best and a very small serving, the pasta not properly cooked and the tortelli are simply bad. We asked for the pasta for our 3 year old son to come first his dish came last of all (and it was actually different from the one we ordered)! Even the water tasted of chlorine... There was a reason why this was the only restaurant without a single booked table the only clients seemed to be clueless or desperate tourists who could not find an alternative. If Italian restaurants are supposed to stand for good, tasty even if rustic food, presented in a welcoming family friendly atmosphere: this place is the anti thesis. Avoid if you can.
My husband and I visited this restaurant and we liked it, it's a fish and sea food restaurant, we took one meal of pasta with sea food because we weren't sure we will like it and it will be tasty and we loved it, we took after that another meal of thr same pasta.
Ulisse opened his place in Magliano in toscana a couple of months ago. We happened there by chance the first time in august and came back later in september. In both occasions we had a fantastic seafood lunch , made with top quality products, an excellent cooking and a lovely atmosphere. Ulisse loves his job and you feel it.
