Soto Ayam Pak Trimo - Magelang

Yummy for (Indonesian) breakfast. Large place and family friendly. But it's quite pricey for soto.

The food was great and unique. The portion was big. The satay was great, both the sweet one or the salty one. But the parking lot was very limited. The place was popular so it's rather crowded on weekend or holiday.

The venue is not located on the side of the street, you need to go inside alleyway to reach location. In a good way, it has little bit different taste than other soto in Magelang. You will get a big serving with lot of rice and topping in a bowl, it will be too much for some people. But don't worry, you can order a half portion if you want. The soto can be ate with satay, perkedel, fried tofu, etc. The seller served it with hot boiled broth, best for cold morning in magelang. The price was normal, not so cheap, but also not expensive.

One of the best places in Magelang. Condiments are the right winner here. Chicken Satay and fried tempeh could improve the soto dish to the next level. The regular dish would be okay, but spices increase it.
