Gazela Cachorrinhos Da Batalha - Mafra

One of the best sandwiches I’ve tasted in a long while. Sandwich were made quickly and were good quality and fresh. Would definitely recommend!

Following a walking tour of Porto, I stopped by Cervejaria Gazela, which had two locations within walking distance of my hotel in Batalha Square. All of the locals seemed to be enjoying the hot dog special, so I ordered one along with fries. It was an unexpected treat. I recommend the spicy version. I later learned that Anthony Bourdain featured Cervejaria Gazela in his Parts Unknown series. The restaurant lived up to the hype.

Great and friendly service. Good food but a bit carb heavy. Overall good food to experience when in Porto. There’s two locations and it would be good to visit the bigger location.

We went wrong. They no longer have a restaurant, they only have a cafe and they haven't updated the information here on GMaps. Too bad.

Cafe snack bar with the best homemade popcorn in the region. I recommend.
