Delicious food, warm welcome, Irish hospitality at its best. Thank you Daria and Brian, we'll be back soon with the kids.

We visited with some English friends who have been staying in the area - we met for morning coffee but were tempted by the smell of fresh baking to try their delicious pasties. Beautiful fluffy pastry with delicious fillings. We were so impressed we bought some to take away for friends who were coming to lunch the next day, Run by a lovely welcoming Irish couple who have moved to Brittany from America. Free book exchange and coffee top-up. We will undoubtedly be back on our next visit to France.

Had driven to Mael-Carhaix as a starting point for a family bike ride on the great cycle path running through this area. Wandered through town afterwards to find a place to eat and stumbled across Chez Odette. Very glad we did.Food was very good (homemade) and very reasonably priced. Excellent choice and fabulous looking home baking on offer.Brian and Darien are very welcoming and friendly. They were both great with our kids.We'll certainly be back before the end of our holiday in Brittany. We'd certainly recommend to anyone.
