Siam - Madrid

Lunch two days ago at Siam. Opted for the set menu at 11.5 euros. Large portion of pad thai followed by a vegie curry – delicious. My partner chose the spring roll and beef curry. Beef was a little tough but altogether a very good meal. Spice level perfect! The menu also included dessert and a beverage. Clean environment, prompt and friendly service. Would recommend. Interesting neighbourhood, full of ethnic restos, many Indian and Chinese. Off the main strip, Gran Via.

Every time we visit Madrid, this is our go-to place for Thai. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is warm and intimate. During our most recent visit, they had a select menu of food for 15 Euro which includes appetizer, main entree, dessert and drink. I had 2 vegetable spring rolls, veggie with red curry, a drink and ice cream. As always, the service is excellent and friendly.

I 'm from Bangkok Thailand so I know what is Thai food . If you are looking for an authentic Thai food, this is not the place. BUT....I gotto admit that the food taste nice. Good dinner is a combination of taste service hospitality . Though they do not serve authentic food, it does not mean that the food taste poor. Some restaurants in Thailand they serve authentic Thai food but taste bad : As for hospitality, the staffs made me and my friends had a good experience of great hospitality of Spanish. The day that I visited this restaurant was the first day that I visited Spain with a tour group. After dinner, we went to a supermarket a few steps from the restaurant....and unexpectedly....our tour leader left me and three of my friends behind!!!! We decided to go back to Siam restaurant and wish that they might have wifi and we could connect to our group. However, they do not have wifi so we asked a staff to help us call our tour leader. He didn 't have his phone number then another lady staff called the owner....but he/she didn 't have it too. We asked her to call to our hotel and she helped us call. All of the staffs were very helpful! Thank you for trying to help us though we had some language barriers. Anyway, at the end, our tour leader showed up at the restaurant. I haven't eaten much in purely Asian restaurants, tried 1 year ago the Thai garden to celebrate an anniversary and the truth is that it was marveled, by its mix of Chinese and Indian cuisine ever since I wanted to take a step again an Asian restaurant, and that it was a little cheaper than the thai, that although I had less charm oted could enjoy a good meal the letter is quite wide and you go out to about 20€ per person, and good between week or you have a

Without a doubt, one of my favorite restaurants in Madrid. Since my return to the world, Thai food has become one of my favorites thanks to its variety: that mix of Asian food with tropical (mango, pineapple, curry, rice, butchery, nuts. He has conquered me and the truth is that the siam has all this and, moreover, a good price. The tasting menu for two people is large and it is not that it is cheap, but in comparison with other similar goes quite well stopped (I think I remember that 20 euros more drink.) do not stay hungry much less. Furthermore, the menu is very varied and you have to eat of all kinds. On the other hand, at noon there is a menu for 12 euros that includes some of the best dishes of the place, so if you walk around the area it is perfect to eat different one day also recommending the saté with peanut sauce (spectacular), any curry or the classic thai pad a great place!
