In the center of Madrid it is a nice looking taverna, the price are average for what is offered however the quality is also average and the paella a microwaved heated affair with a lonely shrimp looking at you in a sea of overcooked rice....More

We were at the restaurant 5 years ago. It was very nice experience. We decided to go again. Bad choice. Something happened to the Volcano. Food average. Paella prepared earlier and heated up. Everything served at one time. Appetizers together with main dishes. Everything fresh but poorely seasoned. There won’t be another visit. Sorry.

Cool old Spain feel with very reasonable drinks. We didn’t eat there although a small tapas accompanied the drinks. Food passing our table looked good and large portion.Serve is good and the place is authentic. Recommended.

Simple, inexpensive, along with fast service. paella from a large prepared dish at the bar €7 a teller) good wine selection. we received free dessert drinks from the administration. to the extent that the brot was mentioned by another male below in the previous post, it was € 1.50 for a basket. no big thing, and quite in tune with most other restaurants in Spain we visited. patrons were a mix of local and tourist.
