Madoc Dairy

Madoc Dairy and Burnside Restaurant. We stopped here on our way home from Kingston, ON. We were hungry and needing a good cup of coffee. A table was available but it seemed that service was not. It was a while before we received menus. Coffee came shortly afterward but it, unfortunately, was not good. The young man helping us never returned. It was another while before our order arrived. Fried egg sandwich and a chicken wrap. The young lady stepping in for the gentleman noticed that we didn't have any sort of table setting and fixed that up right away for us. Our second cup of coffee was a bit of an improvement over the first. Final cost was fine and the sandwiches were good, but in the end, this was not a good experience.

Want a great breakfast...stop in at Madoc Dairy! this is a very way to start you day, have a tradition egg & bacon breakfast along with the perfect friendly small town attitude...simply the best...Stop in..you will have no regrets.

I go to this restaurant for breakfast every couple of weeks. The breakfast is fine but the service lacks a bit. There is never very many people in there when I go so they shouldn't be overwhelmed with customers but you have to keep asking for a coffee refill and they only hand out creamers like they're made of gold. Same with the jam and peanut butter packets. Otherwise, not bad, which is why I keep going back.

Had family in town we walked there and had a great cool down with their ice cream and shakes. The food is also very good there I usually get the wraps and they are very good

My wife and I just had our first visit to the restaurant. It is a clean establishment with large portions, good food and the staff show a genuine friendliness that you get from small towns. We will come here again.
