The 528 Tavern - Madison

We go there on Saturday, usually for the specials. The surf and turf make all the seafood places around here kinda feel dumb. Cracked king crab, New york strip and crab legs, oysters, they have it all. I regrettably didn't take any pictures, but next weekend, I'll add some. Service is great. it's a small town small seating area, so all the waitresses are on their tables constantly. The atmosphere is great too lot's of usuals so everyone tends to no everyone. Tvs to watch games, and the music is always just enough. I definitely recommend this place.

The food was great. I had a steak and it was made exactly how I wanted it. Drinks were made well! The locals were very nice and friendly. My only complaint is the owner preys on drunk girls.

10/10 will stop by every time I’m in the area, one of the best burgers I’ve ever had and the best fries I’ve ever had. Had a group of 6 and all of us ordered different levels of cooked for our burgers and they all came out perfectly to order. Prompt and tactful service, great music Also one of the cleanest bathrooms I’ve used in a restaurant, small but gets the job done in every way and doesn’t smell bad!

Excellent food. By far a step above the average bar menu. Burgers and steaks cooked perfectly to your order. Try the fried dill pickles! And they have pizza now! You definitely get your money's worth here with the portions. Plan on getting a take home box. The service is absolutely fantastic as well!
