Parkway Family - Madison

Lisa and I lived in Arbor Hill's Todd Drive apartments in the late nineties, so we went to breakfast here before we had the kids. As you might be able to tell about the photos, the breakfasts are as sweet and tasty as we remember. I thought I would surprise her the other day after we went together to an appointment, and I enjoyed the complete order of cookies and gravy with a few Sunny Side Eggs on the top (Cholula hot sauce or tobasco sauce per your request)... and Lisa got a healthy size help from Omelette. Coffee is great. Service is fast and personal. We loved it so much for the food and the memories, we had to come back, this time with the children. Delicious.

Breakfast. I ordered the heap of hay; Haschbraune with biscuit and sausage sword and 2 eggs. It was very delicious! My son ordered the pancakes and two eggs with bacon. He enjoyed her very much. The service was a little slow, but this seems to be the way things are now working with reduced numbers of people who want to work in the service industry. You were very busy! The prices were very reasonable. My only complaint is parking. The lot seems very small and crowded. I'm glad we had the Corolla of my son and not my Sierra, it would have been a tight squeeze to get my truck in there.

Was surprised by this place! It happened so often on the belt line, but never stopped. It looks like they have rebuilt and it is very welcoming inside. The service is always great and so is the food, always good and great portions. And their pancakes are really good! I don't know why, probably something crazy basic, but they are! The coffee could be stronger, but they keep you refilled, so I think it balances. I love this place... try it if you didn't and thought about it.

Great food, great atmosphere. The staff were all so nice, and it was very obvious they like their job and their customers. You can tell it’s a popular place with regulars, as the staff knew people that came in. Food was hot, yummy and very generous portions.
