Longhorn Steakhouse - Madison

Service was great and the food was as massive. I have been here many times but we went for my kid's birthday so this was a treat. We got the spicy chicken bites to begin, they were tasty but nothing to go crazy over. My kiddo got the porterhouse steak (the Longhorn). It was massive and perfectly prepared. Also the potato was awesome too. She didn't care for the lobster shrimp chowder and honestly I thought it was very mediocre myself. I got a massive ribeye steak and the first one they brought was not cooked the right medium (more medium well) but they had no problem remaking it and the remade steak was good. It was still medium rare BUT I like it like that too so I thought it was perfect. My server was super sweet and brought my kid ice cream which was so nice! I always have a good meal and a huge to go plate when I visit this place.

I really enjoy the meat selection they offer at this restaurant. The service was excellent, especially from our waitress Angela who was very friendly and kind. My parents brought me here for my birthday and it was a fantastic experience.

This particular LongHorn has really gone downhill in the past year or two. It used to be our favorite spot for excellent food and service, but our last visit convinced us to never return. We waited 30 minutes to be seated despite many empty tables. The hostess mentioned that they only had two servers on duty. My steak, ordered medium, came out well done. After our food was served, our server never returned for drink refills. It's the little things that have made our experiences worse each time, leading us to decide not to dine here again. Hopefully, new management will come in soon and turn this restaurant around.

Onion soup was great! All down hill after that. Price far outdistanced food and drink value.

I absolutely adore LongHorn Steakhouse! The service, food, and atmosphere are top-notch. I enjoy dining here so much that I make it a weekly tradition.
