Gloria's Mexican - Madison

This used to be one of my favorite places to stop by for delicious food. However, I rated it 1 star for one specific reason. I gave our waitress a $10 cash tip, and she didn't even acknowledge it with a simple thank you. Instead, she just took the money and put it in her pocket. We always try to be considerate and appreciative of the hard work that goes into the restaurant industry, but a lack of gratitude is a sign of very poor service.

This charming restaurant is situated on Madison's West side. The staff-to-guest ratio was excellent, ensuring attentive service throughout my visit. I enjoyed a margarita on the rocks shortly after the complimentary chips and salsa were served; the drink was quite enjoyable. However, I found the salsa a bit too watery, although it was fresh. My chimichanga was delicious, with just the right amount of crispiness, and the beans and rice on the side complemented the meal nicely. The menu offers a wide variety of options, so I’m eager to return and try something new!

A cozy spot in Middleton with delicious food. Nothing on the menu is surprising, but nonetheless everything I've had is tasty. Dine-in does get complimentary chips and salsa with the meal, which I always think is a nice touch. A great spot for lunch. I highly, highly recommend the cheese and veggie tamales.

The pomegranate margaritas and the pineapple margaritas are so good! The table salsa is extra spicy, and the food is delicious and tastes authentic.
