The only none one star reviews are people who have never actually tried Ethiopian food before. The njera is dry, food is tasteless, and the eastern European staff are unfamiliar with Ethiopian cuisine.

Overall, the atmosphere is nice and the service was ok. I wouldn't recommend the food though. The shared plates are not how traditional shared plates generally are, and instead the shared plates are just the normal entrees at full price put on a larger platter. The food was extremely bland and the vegetables in our dishes undercooked, and expensive for the area. I wouldn't recommend this place.

This might be the worst Ethiopian restaurant in Wisconsin. Terrible customer service, the food tastes horrible, overall really bad place to eat. If you’re looking to eat Ethiopian food, look elsewhere.

I’m Ethiopian and the food here is just sad. Overpriced too. The people are nice but I ordered dorowat and what I got was an abomination. I only ordered it because I was feeling homesick and I was truly shocked. Carrots in my dorowat… no egg… no chicken drumstick… the sauce looked like tomato sauce for gods sake. I sent a picture to my mom (who immigrated to America from Ethiopia in 1992) and she told me to not eat it under any circumstance. It would have been a mediocre dish if they called it something else. But it is NOT dorowat. I feel affronted and I genuinely deserve an apology. This is not the food of my people. This is the food of my enemies.

The injera was a little thinner than what I was expecting. The lamb was more tender than the chicken to me.Overall good flavors.
