Blimpie - Madison

They have closed the restaurant on Brownsferry Rd, and there aren't any others for miles around.

I hadn't eaten at Blimpie in years, so I was pleasantly surprised to find one in Madison during my return to the South! It was just as I remembered. Everything is made to order and very affordable. I even decided to try a panini, which was a new option for me at this chain! However, I think the sandwich maker could use some training on using the panini press properly; the sandwich didn't quite come out flat and crispy. Aside from that, the restaurant was very clean, and the quality of the meat and cheese was excellent! I highly recommend stopping by if you're traveling through the Deep South!

I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance one day when I thought all the nearby places were closed. I'm so glad I found it! Here, you can choose your cut of meat when you place your order, which adds a personal touch. They also have a wider selection of breads and sandwiches compared to other sub shops. My family enjoys this place far more than any of the others we've tried. Don't forget to grab a Blimpie card—once you buy nine regular subs (big subs count as two stamps), you get one free! This little hidden gem is definitely worth trying.

I have a meal there about twice a week. The food is fresh and the bread baked every AM. Both food and service are of excellent quality. The staff makes me welcome and is always eager to make my food exactly the way I want to ask. The entire facility is clean!

My mom loves this little place! She is always talking about how nice the lady is, the cleanliness, the sandwiches. Although I've never tried the smoothies (like everyone talks about), I tried a meatball sub it was delicious. I haven't been to a sub shop in years (as some of them have gone considerably downhill)..However this is a nice stop on the way home.
