We stayed here because of its proximity to the Art Fair on the Square going on that weekend and nudged by the fact that one of us is a Marriott member. This is a typical Marriott property in that there wasn’t anything outrageously bad or outrageously terrific about it; it was absolutely fine for our needs. It’s a nice, newer hotel, and our 6th floor king room was very quiet. Our room was comfy, and the bed was especially comfy. We had to clip the curtains together with skirt hangers for total darkness but it wasn’t nearly as bad as in some hotels. The shower had great temperature controls and great water pressure. The room had faux wood vinyl flooring throughout, which is trendy but felt a bit cheap. We did have a little view of the lake from our room, which was nice. The bar upstairs is very popular and has great views of the Capitol, so if you want a good seat, get there before prime time! The fitness center had lower-end Matrix cardio equipment, but it is a pretty well-stocked gym. You have a great of the Capitol here as well while you are sweating up a storm, so that is really nice! They have chilled towels and a water bottle filler (nice) but no disinfectant wipes (not nice). While we were working out, one of the cleaners just grabbed the towels and emptied the trash, so we’re not sure how clean the fitness center is kept up on a daily basis. On a related note, maid service is only if you are staying more than two days, a US hotel hangover from the pandemic years that we devoutly wish would go away. When we did ask for more water, more towels, etc things did get handled quickly, but it’s super annoying to have to ask for everything, just as it’s super annoying to make your own bed in a room you paid for. Valet is $34 a day – pricey but we thought worth it, as downtown was completely packed with people that weekend, and the parking is right under the hotel; by scanning a QR code and texting for your car from your room, by the time you get down in the (ponderously slow at times) elevator, your car is waiting for you. We would suggest skipping the $15 breakfast – we made a pass-through to check it out and, after noticing the out-of-order espresso machine and the sad assortment of things that in a lot of hotels would be part of the “breakfast included” amenity, went to a nearby restaurant. All in all, this AC Hotel isn’t bad, and if we needed to stay downtown for a reason it’s a good choice.
Laura Robert is such an amazing Fx trader. She was able to guide us through every step of the process despite the fact we were new to the trading market. She is very experienced, she made us a profit of $18,700. with an investment of $2,000 within a week, she made getting our withdrawal a easy one as she guide us through it process, She has great communication and was available any time we needed her. I would highly recommend her if you are interested in earning from forex/stock and crypto trading! DM her via Email; [hidden email] Whatsap: +1 (318) 306-5421
While the location, views, and top floor restaurant/bar Eno Vino are all outstanding and helps to make this our favorite place to stay in Madison, what we really enjoy are the people. People like Matt with Valet service, Abbie at the bar or Silvia in housekeeping make the stay even better each hard working and customer focused!
The whole valet team was really great, Matt helped us out a lot on our last day when we needed parking after check out made our stay so simple, easy and relaxing. Thank you so much for all your help!!
Very basic, bland breakfast. For a nice hotel, it'd be nice to see sausage, bacon available, possibly smoked salmon, more protein needed for sure.
