Excellent eating. the meatballs, ravioli and veranda. the taste was on point with everything. it is a small restaurant and they are cozy with their roommates. unique cocktails but not the best aspekt des ortes. the service was perfect, he knew most of all about the preparation and ingredients to know. we're coming back!
As a person with a deep passion for eating, it is not surprising that I develop serious breaks on eating and restaurants from time to time. the reason why I called it as a smashing is because I was a teenager and had crushed someone, I constantly thought of this person and I always wanted to be close to him, even if he didn't know I was there. What a disappointment, apart from the ravioli. this is an unusual modern place. You can't book and it was full, so obviously the people love it. but what a shame. deceptive scandal. no single American weeping on the weeping list. Why do they come to madison and drink second price, huge overpriced European wine? and the small common plates. good, they were all sufficient, but go for an intimate meal for two and pay for a sufficient food? yet, after said that, the ravioli is my dish of decades and it was just for that. the venison was ok the pork belly the worst I eaten in. the duck fat fritted were...read more
Pig in a Fur Coat....a fine fur coat it is.. Located on the previously slow section of Williamson Ave we decided to give the Pig a try while in Madison. It had recently reopened from remodeling and the timing was perfect. We stepped into the renovated space and were greeted by the Pig, looking suspiciously like Rembrandt, but with a porcine snoot. The space was well appointed, wall seating with tables, and a large raised central community table, European style with an industrial flair. The new bar, sans the under construction draft beer line, was fully operational. The wine racks along the rear corner wall added a refined look to the space. We chose the Duck Egg Ravioli for the...read more
