It was busy but there wasn't a long wait. Service was fast and the food was delicious.

Best Mexican food around!! The staff is always friendly and energetic. You always feel like family. I recommend the Steak-Fajitas. Great price for a great amount of food!!

La Carreta is a local favorite for a reason! From childhood to adulthood, LaCa was in a heavy regular rotation for me... and many others! While I no longer live in the area when I come to the city, I always make sure to eat in one of the farms in Amherst or Lynchburg. Food is delicious, service is fast and prices reasonable. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the mood:

I never did, NIE was disappointed by a La Carreta!! Your food is always perfect and the portions are like visiting my grandmother's house - any time! Also, I usually don't like standard margarita 's, but you just taste...amazing! Order it without salt, which was perfect. I could taste every little lime they used to make. After all, I had to use the toilet room on my way out. He asked one of the servers where he was and told me KFC... There's a KFC next door. I love this place. They never play around when it comes to their food. I'd give 10 stars if I could.
