Had cocktails in another place. Bar zart knows his stuff!!

If you need a quick place for lunch to get a sandwich or want to drink, then this place is good. Food is average, and there are much better places in the area for good Italians.

Portions are big, so be ready to take whatever at home for lunch on dinner the next day. the lobster ravioli dush and the chicken Gregory were excellent.

New menu. Grest Day Specialists. Chef Gino makes some wonderful original creations, many based on his mother's kitchen. The father of the cook, Rocco, for whom the restaurant is named, began restaurant more than 50 years ago. He visits every table to ensure quality and that everyone enjoys. Also has an extensive bar cake selection with a beautiful thin crust each.

We wanted to try Rocco's for some authentic Italian food in Madison and be able to have a glass of wine along with our meal. Rocco's is a cross between a pizza parlor and a sports bar. We waited a bit for the waiter to come and greet us, we ordered our drinks and food. The dishes were good, nothing stood out as fantastic or above the ordinary Italian dishes you can get at many local spots. When we were finished we got the dessert menus and had to wait for a long time before the waiter came back to take our dessert order. All in all it was an okay experience and we might go back sometime to see if the service was just bad on that night or if it is an ongoing problem.
