Really really average. Kids softdrinks tasted like soap. I got the chicken parmi. Theres a pretty good parmi culture in Perth. This was manufactured chicken overcooked ****. And for average Perth parmi prices, expensive. Chips came out hot but went cold too quickly. Husbands fish and chips taste like sand quote. Kids liked their lasange, and the portion soze was good, but they said it went cold very quick so id guess mocrowaved. Salad bar of limp lettuce and what looked like coles deli premade salads.
Spot on Steaks. Salad buffet that you can actually return to. The steaks done as you request them, and quality cuts. No **** music (weekday lunchtime). Good value. And barmaid willing to go research the beers for you, no matter how dumb the question!
Good. I have been here many times, the last 3 times without fail they have forgotten my partners meal completely. The 4th time they brought out his surf turf without any surf and brought it out 20 min later. The staff are friendly and of course gave a refund drinks to compensate each time. I have always had a good meal and I would go back, but my partner won't.
Gone downhill. The Attfield Tavern used to be really good when Lyn was the cook.Since she left it has gradually gone downhill. The last 2 times we were there we had roast beef which could have been used for shoe leather. It was impossible to cut with the knife. The only thing that saved the meal was the free salad bar which helped fill the gap somewhat.Even the roast potato was some sort of stuffed potato. Why can't today's socalled chefs cook a traditional roast?
