Caffe 5 - Madalena

Cozy place, good food, drinks and fair prices. One of the few really solid choices in the area. It has a B&B attached as well. Focus is more on soul food , but prices are definitely in the touristy category.

Delighted to be able to eat at this restaurant attached to the hotel where I was staying. Open from lunchtime till late, I loved sitting outside eating a tasty, freshly prepared tuna salad, followed by a delicious fruit panna cotta. Very reasonably priced and excellent service.

I ordered a kebab on a plate with Garlic sauce. It was very bland the sauce had no taste and could not distinguish the type of meat used in the kebab. My wife ordered the falafel which consisted of 4 small flat balls that was exceedingly average. Service was ok but wouldn't recommend, far better across the street.

Pequeno restaurante no interior, ampliado, com algumas mesas internas, fora. Espaço interior agradável e acolhedor com uma música de fundo bem escolhida. Na comida eu fui no couvert (pequeno e queijo de mel,) no bife lombo (tendo passado bem, ao contrário do pedido, foi prontamente substituído) e no deleite de maracujá. tudo muito bom, servido em boa quantidade, excelente. para a água uma lava vermelha terras a um preço aceitável. Serviço eficaz e amigável em dúvida para visitar

O hambúrguer é um ambiente muito bom, amigável, senhoras simpáticas que trabalham lá, está bem no centro
