Ban Thai - Macomb

I ordered the sesame chicken fried rice instead of white rice. It was good, but not what I was expecting in terms of sesame chicken. To be fair, I usually get this dish from a Chinese restaurant, not a Thai one, so I understand that there could be some differences. This sesame chicken wasn't sweet; it had a slight vinegar taste to it. They were very generous with the broccoli, and the roasted rice was really nice. It wasn’t what I’m used to in terms of roasted rice, but I enjoyed it. It had a slightly sweeter flavor with an almost buttery taste. The total was just over $12, which I thought was a bit pricey for the amount of food. Regardless, I’m still interested in trying another dish.

Love Love Love LOVE these places Food! You're a little restaurant. I think it's just Covid. They're always the same couples. But they have amazing food and sushi. I'm never on this side of the city, but if I always try to stop!

Time and time again excellent Thai food. Excellent service, excellent sushi, great prices and servings. Clean restaurant. Family owned by a man and a woman. If I could give them 100 points, I would be every time. I never had a bad meal here for two years. A must try and my wife can't get enough of this place.

I've been getting takeout from this place for years! The food is amazing, the portions are generous, and the staff is incredibly friendly. My wife is a big fan of the sushi, and I really enjoy the curry noodles. I highly recommend it!

The food here is excellent, particularly the sushi. They get 4 stars instead of 5 since about 40% of the time I go there to eat it the sushi guy is not there. If they are only going to offer sushi during certain hours of the day it would be helpful to post those times so customers don't drive there for nothing.
