The White Buffalo Grille

The French fries were real good. They were Fluffy and crunchy just the way I like it. The food was good overall. The Mac and Cheese was solid as well. I liked the French fries better than the mashed potatoes . I liked my food but the sauce threw me off slightly. The bison was good too I heard. My family said they wouldn't mind getting their burgers again and my mom's burger was perfect. The decor and atmosphere was great and so was their friendly and helpful service.

Exceptional food and wonderful staff. Nice location in the middle of the hustle and bustle.

Very nice place with great service and great entrees. The chips and dips are to die for. I had the walleye, which had a delicious sauce. We had a group of 8 and they managed us very well. Because of the group size, they automatically added a 20% tip, and the server made sure we knew that so that we didn't double tip. The place is big with lots of room and parking is easy on the street in September. This is an upscale restaurant and close to the ferry dock.

Consider 4.5 rating. We ate here last night. One week before they close for the season. Beer options were limited because of season ending. Friendly and helpful server and nice ambiance; able to have good conversation despite it being busy and full. The Creole shrimp pasta was fantastic! The Boursin chicken was good flavor but chicken itself half of breast was a little tough. Bison chili was decent with tender meat but a lot of beans. Cajun white fish was OK. Would come back for sure if we lived close or during open season.

Have eaten here on 2 separate occasions and both times the food was fantastic, had steak when we visited back in June 2023, showed up about a half hour before they closed, which sucks for the staff I know, but they were extremely friendly and never made us seem like an inconvenience. 2nd time was in September 2023 passing through from Marquette back home and had the tenders, again very friendly staff. Loved this place will be back again, Whie Buffalo and Iron Pig in Gaylord are 2 faves and we will stop when we are anywhere near now!
