Darrows Family - Mackinaw City

Darrow's is a beloved establishment in Mackinaw City, and it's easy to see why. What was once a small drive-in has evolved into a full-service restaurant with a diverse menu that is sure to please even the most finicky eaters. We have visited Darrow's multiple times during our trips to Mackinaw City and have never been disappointed. The staff is efficient, knowledgeable, and always ready to provide recommendations for those who are unsure of what to order. The only downside to Darrow's is that it tends to get crowded, so arriving early is recommended. However, this just goes to show that Darrow's is a top choice for dining in Mackinaw City.

The food was excellent and the service was wonderful. The portions were generous and the restaurant was very clean. They were able to accommodate our party of 11, although we did have to wait for everyone to arrive before being seated.

I had a great experience at this restaurant. The food tasted like it was homemade, and the portions were very generous. The service was excellent from the moment I walked in, with the hostess giving me a warm greeting and showing me their selection of homemade pies. I was seated quickly and my server, Christine, greeted me with a smile and took my drink order. The menu was extensive, making it hard to choose, but I finally decided on the hot turkey which was delicious. I was too full to try their pie, but I will definitely get some to go next time. The prices were reasonable and the atmosphere was positive. I definitely plan on going back. Next time, I'll remember to take a photo of my delicious meal!
