Loved it! One of the best meals in a long time in Mackay and would be the best at the Marina precinct. Yes it's a pub but very high standard. Yummy salad Happy and polite staff Great chef/cook Great manger whom is very hands on and it showsAnd the size of the meals you will not leave hungry whatsoever

Staff were welcoming and friendly on arrival ,good atmosphere amongst the club ,awesome views overlooking the marina and along the beach . Service was good ,meals were sizeable and very flavoursome , and the oyster shooters are awesome

Stopped here for for a quick bite. Good food at great prices. Didn't have to wait long food was hot and good pub grub

Once a month our Dragon Boat team meet up at Great Northern Sports Club for dinner after training.The staff are friendly, the service is prompt and good, the views are lovely, the food is good and not overly expensive. The club is usually kept clean and tidy. Everyone always enjoys the night out, and the menu has a good variety of food, food always tastes fresh and yummy. They have a few pokie machines if you play the pokies. Has a nice relaxing atmosphere and doesn't get too loud. Definitely going back. Give it a try.

My wife and I visited Mackay for one day. We walked along the waterside and discovered this club for lunch. The staff (including the owners), service and food were excellent and in our opinion very good value. If we visit Mackay again we will definitely go to this venue for a meal.
