Order of meals during a stay in a nearby holiday home. a tad expensive, but very nice eating, and a very kind hearty heart that served me would recommend!

A little oasis of well spiced south Asian curries behind this unassuming shop front in small town Scotland, in the Esk river valley just across the border with England. The curries were well flavoured and the restaurant had a nice ambiance. The proprietor was graceful and welcoming, and even gave us poppadums and pickles on the house. Would happily eat here again. They also do take aways and western snack food but if you are from out of town, you go here for the delicious indian food.
