Nonetheless this establishment defines a great Agriturisomo as attested by its popularity with Italian diners and is a true “hidden gem”. We arrived just after 8.00pm and by 9.00pm hardly a spare seat in a relatively large restaurant. Despite the language challenges- no menu unless you are having a pizza- service is friendly and brisk. The food is why you are here and you will not be disappointed. Most impressive for us was the cheeses, the truffle toast and clever pasta dishes as well as the baked pork with sage. Bring cash but not much as our meal for two including anti pasta, bruschetta, pasta and a mains with a complimentary limoncello each was barely €50!
This high quality agriturismo sets the bar for home grown Italian produce. Set on a smallholding in the midst of the glorious deep Molise countryside, with panoramic views, the food, especially the antipasti and primi, are an eclectic presentation of traditional regional dishes. One of the best meals out in the region. Could do with a bit more on the vegetable front but this is really the only flaw in an otherwise superb regional restaurant.

We have a house not far from this restaurant and it is certainly one of our favourite haunts for lunch or dinner (we even had Christmas lunch there last year). You will see from the other reviews that this is a thoroughly Italian establishment frequented almost entirely by Italians (many local). Food is utterly local too, much of it produced onsite in the spirit of true agritourism . As a result everything is fresh and tasty. Here you will get some of the most innovative cuisine of the region, prepared with real care and attention. There 's no English spoken, but incredibly friendly Italian service, so bring your dictionary. It 's not easy to find: follow the brown road signs carefully. Well worth a visit.
