Waffle House - Mableton

Check your bag carefully. I was missing an entire plate. Didn?t realize it until I got home. They were not answering the phone at that point, so I couldn?t even call in to arrange returning for the missing food.

I arrive sometime after 8:00 a.m. the place didn't seem to be that busy but they had a lot of call in orders. It took about 20 minutes or so to get my order. Of three egg omelette with ham and cheese and onions. I hadn't been there since 2015 andforgotten how greasy their food is.

Consistently excellent, this remains our favorite waffle house. They serve the best eggs and hash browns in town!

I was informed that they close at 10:35 PM, and the cook turned away customers because he was overwhelmed at the grill. Two families were denied service with the excuse that they were short-staffed for the night. Honestly, it seemed like the cook was just worried when he saw more people arriving. If you're working the late shift on a Saturday, you should be prepared to handle a busy crowd. One cook and three waiters? How many more do you need?

The bathrooms were clean during my visit today. However, we didn’t receive the bacon we ordered with our meals, so I’m deducting a star for that. Aside from that, the staff was friendly and efficient.
