Jalisco's Mexican Grill - Mabank

The service was great initially, but once our food arrived, we didn’t see our waiter again until it was time for the bill. I ordered the tamale plate with a side chicken enchilada, asking for chili sauce on the tamales. Unfortunately, they added a very unpleasant chili that I didn’t enjoy. I tried to catch the waiter to request some cheese sauce to salvage my meal, but he was nowhere to be found until it was time to settle the bill. The enchilada was tough, and I couldn’t eat it. In the end, I left feeling hungry and $45 poorer for both me and my husband. However, he did get the nachos, and he said those were good.

Amazing service and excellent food! The queso was delicious! We had fajitas, burritos, and quesadilla ... all great! Highly recommend!

They charged me $2.75 for what was $1.75 on the menu. They said it was posted but I didn't see any posts on the front door or menu. 50% increase seems high. Oh well I won't be going there and I will not be sending others there either. Why aren't these restaurants taking care of customers???? I eat at home most of the time and they ruined an otherwise decent meal.

My mother-in-law just recently moved in with us from CA. She us used to good Nexican Food, so I took her to Jalisco's. We had their delicious, chicken, tortilla soup ???? and two different lunch entrees. They were all served hot and they were scrumptious. I even ordered 4 Large containers of their Totilla soup to go for dinner. Donny. Our server was excellent! The atmosphere is authentic and cozy. We had a wonderful lunch.

Customer service was great. Our server was fast, friendly attentive. Our food was delicious! We came of Tuesday it was apparently Taco Tuesday. We ordered a couple little chicken tacos that come with onion, cilantro lime. Chicken was seasoned very nicely had so much flavor! They definitely did not disappoint the price was very good! We also ordered a Tres Salsas Burrito Shrimp Quesadilla. DELICIOUS! We are definitely going back! After a year a half of being here in the area, we finally found our favorite little Mexican restaurant in all of Gun Barrel/Mabank! UPDATE: Came 8/26/22 about 8pm. Ordered 2 kids meals, 2 adult meals queso for an appetizer. Over an hour goes by. We watch tables come go around us. We finally ask out waitress when our food will be coming out. She was shocked we hadn 't recieved our food. Apparently our ticket got lost so no food was being made. This experience was not a good one hopefully it is a one-off. Waitress states they are training new kitchen staff this was the third ticket tonight that has gone missing . Hope the new staff catches on quickly! Reducing my previous 5 stars to 4 for this experience inattentive customer service we received tonight.
