Based on TripAdvisor I walked over from my nearby hotel and ordered the daily special of a salad, main dish and dessert for lunch. All courses were fantastic. I especially enjoyed the fish salad. By far the best meal I have had in Lyon so far. Service was impeccable.

If you are in Lyon, and you want the best seafood ....don’t hesitate, go to Maison Vianey. The shellfish is as fresh as could be and from a sustainable fisherman. Valentine, the Maitre’d is exceptionally hospitable and also are the service team. Fresh Brittany lobster, colossal size shrimp and plenty cooked fish on offer. Set in the courtyard of the newly refurbished Hotel Dieux, for lunch or dinner.....this place is a must if in Lyon.

The hotel recommended to visit this restaurant. We followed the advice and were very happy: We were served by the owner (if I am correct . He helped with the choice of fish and local wine. Everything was cooked and we started to enjoy the food: To crown it up: the place is nice, one can pick up any seafood they have; wine selection is ok; service is nice.
