La Buvette Saint Antoine - Lyon

Pre dinner cocktail by the river at last someone who can make a proper mojito!! Friendly staff. Gorgeous views as the sun was setting.

Visited the buvette for a very light lunch. We got there before midday so were not surprised to hear that service had not started. We ordered some wine and were happy to sit until the start of service. The views were wonderful and the breeze off the Saone was a great relief from the heat of the day. 10 minutes later the waiter came back and said the kitchen were happy to start service a little early and took our order. We asked for a single salad between us. Very happy to meet our reqeust. The salmon salad came very quickly with a carafe of nicely chilled water. The cold rose wine was great too. So we had good service, good food and the prices were very reasonable given the quality of the setting and the freshness of the breeze (obviously that can't be guaranteed).

Nice view. To stop for a drink or light meal

Very well garnished and good. Attention to the abundance of mayonnaise! The bread must come from the Dalida bakery because it is very good. Very nice setting to eat. Watch the pigeons around you! Some will not hesitate to come in your privacy to delight themselves from these good dishes. Their ruse is dumb! Even the nickname non-fan cheese eat all the burgers' cheese.

We came two nights in a row. We were very well welcomed and with a lovely night view on Lyon. The drinks were very good!
