Sensen Ramen, Katsu, Roll - Lynnwood

This food was on-point and worth the journey. Great flavor, nice portion sizes. Def worth at least one visit to see if it’s your vibe. I can understand the 3-5 star reviews depending on your taste buds, but lower than that… nope.

This place is located inside the G Mart. It isn't a fancy sit down restaurant, but rather, a nice, cozy food court : We ordered the spicy ramen and combo katsu (snow cheese and spicy garlic . The ramen was not bad but as many mentioned, if you're looking for an authentic Japanese ramen, this isn't your place. It tasted great! Just with more of a korean flair to it. But, the katsu on the other hand was phenomenal. The snow cheese was probably our favorite I believe underneath the cheese they put some sort of curry sauce that was so flavorful. Definitely will be coming back the price was also very reasonable considering all the inflation!

Garlic spicy ramen. Had high hopes with all the food review. With ramen in the namesake, thought there would be more options to ordering ramen. As usual, Japanese spice level, when claim spicy, it just looks spicy however about as spicy as black pepper. For me. Some dice garlic. Very oily. Was hoping for my soy-soft boiled egg, like the picture in the menu shows. Overall staff is friendly, convenient inside G-Mart, but about average for ramen. Not really to my taste compared to a dedicated ramen shop.

This ramen and katsu place is a wonderful surprise. It's located within the G-mart and you wouldn't necessarily expect a good food place inside a grocery store, but it's pretty good. We had the Tonkotsu ramen and snow cheese katsu and both were really good and the portion size is generous. It's inexpensive, too. Highly recommended to stop by for lunch if you are in the area.
