Unfortunately, the evening staff could be a bit friendlier. However, the flavors are outstanding, and the portions are generous. You’ll find authentic Dominican cuisine here, and I’m willing to drive 40 minutes from my home because it’s so worth it. The ladies working in the morning are very pleasant, too. The restaurant isn’t very large, with about 12 booths, and there are no waitstaff; you simply order your food and pick it up at the front.
The food is absolutely amazing! It's incredibly delicious! If I could give it 10 stars, I definitely would! You should definitely give this place a try! We're visiting from out of state, and it came highly recommended to us. I will definitely return when I'm back in the Boston area!
We were on our way home to Vermont and wanted to avoid getting stuck in rush hour traffic, so we decided to stop at 5 p.m. on a Monday. It felt like a bit of a gamble, but the large number of locals coming in and out indicated we had made a good choice. The place was bustling, making it hard for me to strike up a conversation, so I quickly pointed to the cassava and some red sauce. It turned out to be amazing! I also ordered a passion fruit juice to drink. We opted to eat in the car to keep the tables inside available for others, and we needed to hit the road anyway. In total, two of us had a satisfying meal for about $18.
Been coming here since I was a young child. This restaurant is iconic and is one of the go to spots in Lynn, or even the North shore in general.
Great variety of Dominican food. Fresh fried beef, pork and chicken. Space for parking.
